Passing the PMP exam is to understand the PMI version of project management and memorizing the relevant terminology. Do not be fooled that you do not need to memorize anything. You do. College graduate you are not, but you have a chance at a PMP certification.

National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA)

For more than 60 years, NBFAA has been working to help its members, as well as the fire alarm and burglar detection industry in general. A non-profit group, NBFAA is the largest professional trade association in the United States that has the goal of representing and enhancing the growth of the electronic life safety, security and integrated systems industry. Members of NBFAA range from commercial companies to residential consumers. Companies that work in the sale, manufacturing, installation, service and monitoring of fire alarm and security systems are represented in the organization.

National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)

The NFPA is charged with maintaining and creating the standards for fire prevention, training and equipment in the fire protection agency. Founded in 1896 by an insurance firm, the NFPA had the mission of standardizing the new market of fire sprinkler systems. The so-called third world countries blame poverty for the lack of economic, political, and social progress in their nation. It is a known fact that to alleviate poverty, citizens need education. Governments of under-developed and developing countries need to find the right type of solution that will impact the greater population.

Education plays an important role in our globalized world. Workers need to improve their performance and skills to be able to compete with other nationalities from more developed countries.

While education remains conventional, technology evolves rapidly, encroaching on our daily lives and activities, changing the way we live and how we interact with one another.

Through the marriage of education and technology, Elearning was born to provide a solution for higher demands in training. This is one solution that may prove to be worthy of government support. There are advantages to using this new pedagogy that can be cost effective and more efficient.

Long distance learning – The environment provides a platform where expert teachers specializing in unique skills from different parts of the world can interact with students even if they’re halfway around the globe. Vocational schools for example, involved in teaching trade skills can offer certifications for specialized subjects previously not offered because of lack of knowledgeable instructors.

Poverty is such a broad problem but it’s generally caused by lack of opportunities. Education should be the top priority, not only for developing countries but all countries in the world. Quality education promotes not only economic prosperity, but also social and political change.

Elearning is a viable alternative to bridge the gap in the educational system if only the government is willing to support the project. Not only will the people have more opportunities, it will also give them the chance for a better future.
